Fans of the Thousand Theft Machine trilogymay be in for some more disappointment as the physical version of the game has leaked and it's underwhelming. Rockstar Games launched a digital-only version of theGTAtrilogy in November and promised a physical version a month later and now that it's almost hither, many are finding that information technology pales in comparison to Rockstar's previous concrete game releases.

Since its launch, theGTAtrilogy has disappointed Rockstar fans. The collection was released in a buggy land, leaving many disheartened past the updated versions of some of gaming's nearly classic titles. Not only were the bugs and fifty-fifty the art style points of contention, but many took grievance with Rockstar's rollout of the game every bit well. The developer removed the original versions of the trilogy from PC for roughly a month, briefly delisted the remastered trilogy afterwards discovering issues with the game's files, and didn't really market the collection a whole lot before release. Needless to say, it's been Rockstar's roughest launch in contempo retention.

Those hoping to get a physical copy of the game were likewise left disappointed. Rockstar ended upward delaying the physical releases of theGTAtrilogy for unknown reasons and now that it'southward nearly hither, it doesn't appear to have been worth the wait. A video from Reddit user WadieXkiller shows someone unboxing a leaked physical copy of theGTAtrilogy. Sadly, it has no real fanfare. No map, no poster, no booklets, just a rather generic-looking disc.

For some, this may not seem out of the ordinary. Most games are packaged like this now, with minimal endeavor put in. That said, Rockstar has pretty much ever included a poster and map for its open-world games, including 2018'sCherry Dead Redemption 2. Given fans have already suffered through tons ofGTA trilogy glitches, this is just yet another reason to be let downwards by the collection. While it may exist a lot to wait Rockstar to cram three maps in the box, something like a poster would've been a good compromise.

Whether this is yet some other sign that Rockstar released this collection sooner than planned is unknown. It's possible the developer never planned to include any other goodies with this version of the GTA trilogy. In March 2022, Rockstar volition re-releaseGrand Theft Auto 5for Xbox Serial 10 and PS5, and then it remains to exist seen if the studio will pack in a map of San Andreas or poster like the original releases.
